User consent and waiver

Adria star.hr collects personal data of users that they provide voluntarily. It is considered that by accepting the Terms of Use of Adria star.hr, of which this Statement on Privacy and Data Protection is an integral part, the user has given their consent and expressly expressed their will by which they express their consent to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of use services offered by Adria star.hr. The user can withdraw his consent at any time by written notice.

Data processing manager

Adria star.hr is the manager of your personal data processing.

The privacy policy applies to all user personal data that we collect and process, directly or through our partners.
Personal data is any data relating to a natural person whose identity has been determined or can be determined, directly or indirectly.
Data processing is any action performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, inspection and transfer of personal data.
This Policy does not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous data is data that cannot be linked to a specific natural person.

What type of data is collected?

Adria star.hr collects all personal data that is accumulated when users use the services offered by Adria star.hr (website) and communicate with Adria star.hr. Only those personal data that are essential to achieve the purpose for which users use the offered services are collected and their scope will not be greater than what is necessary to achieve such purpose.

The above includes:

Data that users enter via online forms or that they enter in another way while using Adria star.hr services (for example, by phone or email), including personal data (name, address, phone number, date of birth, gender, means of payment , etc.),
user data sent or automatically generated (for example, date and time of service use, current and previously used page, IP address, data related to the browser used, device code, current location, if such information is provided, etc.), as well as interaction data if it is available without installing additional programs on the computer (for example, mouse movements and clicks or pressing keyboard keys on the Internet page),
personal data generated by Adria star.hr or third parties (for example codes),
Correspondence and other communication with users (for example, electronic mail, etc.)

Brochures, commercial communication

In connection with the services offered by Adria star.hr, it may periodically send brochures or other content (of a commercial nature) to the address or number of any user who has registered his email address or any other electronic address or mobile phone number with Adria star .hr. By registering, users give their consent to receive such brochures and content. However, they can notify Adria star.hr at any time and without charge that they no longer wish to receive or be notified of the above.

Is any data forwarded to third parties?

With the exceptions listed below, Adria star.hr in principle does not forward any personal data to third parties:

Adria star.hr may invite third parties to process personal data on behalf and exclusively for the purpose of Adria star.hr's business (e.g. market research institutions). Adria star.hr will apply appropriate measures to ensure that such a third party processes data exclusively in the manner in which Adria star.hr is authorized to process them;
Adria star.hr can disclose personal data to third parties if its user so requests (by registration, request for an offer, etc.), if it is otherwise necessary to provide the service requested by the user or if Adria star.hr has expressly informed the user about to the fact that his/her data will be disclosed. In exceptional cases (e.g. misuse), user data may be disclosed to third parties for other purposes specified in this data privacy statement or for purposes provided for by law.
Adria star.hr can provide personal data to third parties if it is provided for by law.

Furthermore, Adria star.hr can disclose anonymized user data to third parties. Such data is in a form that does not allow third parties to learn the identity of the users in question or is unlikely to do so.

All employees of Adria star.hr and business partners are responsible for respecting the principles of privacy protection through contractual relations with third parties and related companies.

Where and how is the data stored?

In the context of saving or otherwise processing user data, Adria star.hr will apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or otherwise unwarranted processing. Such measures are subject to regular control and are changed if necessary. This also applies to third parties responsible for running the system.

Personal data are stored in a form that allows identification of the user and for no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which the data is collected or further processed. 
We use various security measures, including encryption and authentication, to protect and maintain the security, integrity and availability of your information.

Among other things, we use the following measures:

• strictly limited personal access to your data based on the "necessary to know" principle and only for the purpose of which you are informed,
• safe transfer of collected data,
• permanent monitoring of access to IT systems in order to detect and prevent misuse of personal data.

How long we keep your data

We store and process personal data only for as long as is necessary for the execution of a specific legitimate purpose, unless the applicable regulations provide for a longer storage period for a particular purpose. In case of giving consent for marketing, we keep the data for as long as the consent is withdrawn. In the case of rejected offers, where consent for marketing has not been given, we keep the data related to the offer for one year, and in case you ask us to delete it, it will be deleted immediately.

Personal data that is no longer needed is either irretrievably anonymized or securely destroyed.

Questions and suggestions, requests for information, corrections or deletions

The user has the right at any time to withdraw the consent given for the processing of personal data and to request the cessation of further processing of his data, unless it is a matter of data processing for statistical purposes, when the personal data no longer allow identification of the person to whom they refer. The user also has the right to request the correction or modification of personal data that he has provided for processing. Waiver of consent or a request for correction or change of personal data must be submitted in writing via email to info@adria-star.hr. The user has the right to expressly object to the processing of his personal data for marketing purposes, in which case the personal data relating to him will not be processed for this purpose. Objection to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes shall be submitted by the user in writing via email to info@adria-star.hr. All other questions, suggestions and comments regarding the processing of personal data are welcome.

Anyone who believes that a right guaranteed by this Act has been violated, can submit a request to the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data to determine the violation of the right.
